" Prashant Shah, one of my favorites, was tall and debonair, the Fred Astaire of Kathak -- when he smiled, you did too."
Rachel Howard, San Francisco Chronicle, USA

" ...the distilled clarity of lines, the stillness of centered dancing, the repose and tranquility and joy reflected in the dance."
Leela Venkataraman, The Hindu, India

" ...Shah's performance displayed wonderful contrasts, with moments of sharp clarity... Spinning, he seemed caught up in a whirlwind, looking down upon the audience from a cloud."
Robert Johnson, The Star Ledger, USA

Prashant Shah is a critically acclaimed male performer and choreographer from India. Prashant's virtuosity in Kathak technique, that enables him to perform a vast repertoire with masculine grace without any flowery affectations, makes him one of the outstanding male dancers of his genre today.

Prashant has been recently honored by bieng selected as a 'Gallery artiste' on the Pentacle list of artists in NYC.
